The Ionia boys and girls bowling teams recognized their 7 seniors before their final match on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley.  The boys team finished their season with a dominating win over the Comets of Grand Ledge winning 29-1.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 850 pins to Grand Ledge’s 673 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Brett Petersen’s 205 followed by Gavin Flanner’s 184.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 890 pins to Grand Ledge’s 663 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Mason Hodge’s 266 followed by Gavin Flanner’s 186.  The Bulldog’s won the series 1740 to 1336.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Comets team 400 to 309.

The varsity boys are now 11-2 overall and 8-2 in the league.  The Bulldogs now head into the MHSAA individual and team regionals at Westgate Bowl on Thursday and Friday.
