The Ionia boys bowling team fell to a good Portland team 18-12 on their home lanes at the Ionia Bowling Alley.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 816 pins to Portland’s 1064 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Trevor Hodges’ 200 followed by Miles Perrien’s 181.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 862 pins to Portland’s 857 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Vincent Flohr’s 216 followed by Christian Miller’s 193.  The Bulldog’s lost the series 1921 to 1708.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Raiders team 357 to 320.

In the JV match the Bulldogs lost 22-8 to the Raiders of Portland.  The JV was led by Steven Flohr’s 180 and Logan Miller’s 191.

The varsity boys fall to 3-1 overall and 3-1 in the league.  The boys will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Lakewood to take on the Vikings.
