The Ionia boys bowling team beat the Cougars of Lansing Catholic 24 -6 at the Ionia Bowling Alley to remain undefeated on the season.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 825 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 852 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Trevor Hodges’ 191 followed by Christian Miller’s 180.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 856 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 673 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Vincent Flohr’s 207 followed by Trevor Hodges’ 192.  The Bulldog’s won the series 1681 to 1525.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Cougars team 357 to 306.

In the JV match the Bulldogs and the Cougars finished the match with the score tied 15-15 going to the tiebreaker in which Ionia held the advantage to secure the win.  The JV was led by Aaron Wilford’s 142 and Logan Miller’s 142.

The varsity boys improved to 3-0 overall and 3-0 in the league.  The girls will be back in action after the holiday break, when they take on Portland at the Ionia Bowling Alley on Tuesday, January 7th.
