The Ionia boys bowling traveled to Sparetime today to take on the Cougars of Lansing Catholic, coming away with a 28-2 victory. In team match #1 Ionia totaled 850 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 753 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Ryan Perry’s 225 followed by Trevor Hodges’ 184.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 985 pins to Lansing Catholic’s 719 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Trevor Hodges’ 256 followed by Ryan Perry’s 205.  The Bulldog’s won the series 1835 to 1472.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Cougars team 348 to 216.

In the JV match the Bulldogs fell 18-12 to the Cougars of Lansing Catholic.  The JV was led by Hudson Kemp’s 185, Steven Flohr’s 134, and Crew Palmer’s 116.

The varsity boys improved to 5-1 overall and 5-1 in the league.  The boys will be back in action next Tuesday when they take on the Orioles of Charlotte at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
