The Ionia boys bowling defeated the county rival Belding 19-11 at Hillcrest Lanes tonight.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 939 pins to Belding’s 1007 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Mason Hodge’s 202 followed by Gavin Flanner’s 186. In match #2 Ionia totaled 1077 pins to Belding’s 852 pins, the Bulldogs were again led by Brett Petersen’s 290 followed by TJ Cox’s 237. The Bulldog’s won the series 2016 to 1859.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs outscored the Black Knights team 414 to 381.
