The Ionia boys bowling team topped the Trojans of East Lansing 21-9 on Senior Night at the Ionia Bowling Alley Tuesday afternoon.  The boys and girls teams took time to honor their seniors Samantha Anderson, Oliveah Miller, Hunter Sena, Joeseph Vroman, Evan Vos, and Tanner Gregory, by giving them a bowling pin signed by all of their teammates and coaches.

In team match #1 Ionia totaled 773 pins to East Lansing’s 635 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Gavin Flanner’s 204 followed by Joeseph Vroman’s 156.  In match #2 Ionia totaled 775 pins to East Lansing’s 718 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Evan Vos’ 186 followed by Joeseph Vroman’s 163.  The Bulldog’s won the series 1548 to 1353.

In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Trojans 344-313.

The boys are now 4-8 and 3-7 in the league. The Bulldogs will head to Westgate Lanes for MHSAA Regional competition.  Team Regionals will be on Friday starting at 8:15 am and Individual Regionals will be on Saturday starting a 8:10 am.
