The Ionia boys bowling team fell to the Comets of Grand Ledge 17-13 on Friday afternoon at Char-Lanes.
In team match #1 Ionia totaled 859 pins to Grand Ledge’s 713 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Evan Vos’ 221 followed by Brett Petersen’s 196. In match #2 Ionia totaled 769 pins to Grand Ledge’s 797 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Brett Petersen’s 192 followed by Sam Meyer’s 172. The Bulldog’s lost the series 1628 to 1510.
In the 2 Bakers matches the Bulldogs were outscored by the Comets 308-291.
