The Ionia boys bowling team started the season off with a win over the Saxons from Hastings 21-9 this afternoon at the Ionia Bowling Alley.
In the team match #1 Ionia totaled 676 pins to Hasting’s 633 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Gavin Flanner's 165. In match #2 Ionia totaled 746 pins to Hasting’s 694 pins, the Bulldogs were led by Brett Petersen’s 183 and Evan Vos’ 159. Ionia took the series 1422 to 1327.
