The IMS girls cross country team wrapped up their season tonight, competing at the Jr. Greater Lansing Cross Country Championship in DeWitt.  The girls competed in two different races.  In the Top 10 race, Ionia placed 15th out of 26 teams and the girls finished the season with some incredible runs.

In order to medal at tonight's meet, athletes had to finish in the top 50 of their race.  Out of 224 runners, Jovie Overkamp finished in 30th place (PR 13:10) and Winne Udell finished in 49th (PR 13:29) earning them both medals. Great work ladies!

Aubrey Perez had a great run tonight as well, setting a new PR at 14:20, finishing in 90th place.

Maci Esparza finished in 141st with a time of 15:22.

Sophia Brown ran hard, finishing in 173rd with a time of 16:29.

Vesper Nervig ran a 16:45, coming in 178th place

Charlotte Whitney ended the season with a great run and new PR at 18:05, finishing in 198th. 

In the girls open race, Rylee Anes crushed her previous PR by a whole minute, finishing at 17:11 and earning her 85th place.

Reegan Haynes had an amazing run, finishing in 100th with a time of 17:34.

Krisalynn Cooper ended the season strong in 142nd place with a time of 19:19.

Arleigha Bailiff cut nearly 2 minutes off her time, finishing with in 178th place with a PR of 22:57.

Olivia ended her season with a great performance of 23:25 and finishing in 182nd.
