The IMS girls cross county team hosted their last home meet of the season, inviting St. Johns, Waverly, Portland, and Charlotte to compete.  Ionia finished in 2nd place with 44 points, falling just short to Charlotte with 37.  Finishing in 3rd place was Waverlyat 68, St. Johns in 4th with 73, and Portland in 5th with 127. 

Some highlights on the night included:

*Olivia Isaac crushing her previous record by 3 minutes, finishing at 25:13

*Charlotte Whitney beating her record by 2 minutes, setting a new PR at 18:35

*Vesper Nervig setting her new PR by a minute, finishing at 17:58

*Jovie Overkamp finishing in 5th place with season record of 13:57

*Winne Udell finishing in 6th place with her season record of 14:17

*Aubrey Perez finishing in 7th place with a season record of 14:29

*Maci Esparza finishing in 8th place at 15:33, improving her season record by 45 seconds

*Sophia Brown setting a new season record at 17:55

*Rylee Anes improving by 2:20, setting a new PR at 18:10

*Krisalynn Cooper sprinting to the finish line with a time of 20:02

The Bulldogs will head to the Shepherd Blue Jay Invite this Saturday, September 28th.
