Ionia Middle School girls’ team participated in the Saranac Color Run on Tuesday night at Saranac Community Schools. Lansing Area Catholic won the competition with 21 points, followed by Ionia taking 2^nd (66), Laingsburg 3^rd (84), Hastings 4^th (101), Saranac 5^th (104), and Fulton 6^th (142).

Girls finishing in the top 20 received a medal, Fiona Sizemore finishing 6^th with a PR 14:01.01, Jovie OverKamp 7^th 14:02.7 with a new PR, and Winnie Udell coming in 9^th 14:14.2 with an outstanding new PR.

Other strong performances included Aubrey Perez 24^th (15:35.3), Khloe Mathis 27^th (15:40.6), MacAnna Esparza 29^th (15:53.0), Reengan Haynes 56^th (18:07.02), Sophia Brown 57^th (18:10.07), Evelyn Kleibush 58^th (18:27.6), Vesper Nervig 61th (18:55.1), Lydia French 62^nd (18:55.4), Charlotte Whitney 66^th (19:24.7), Emma Bledose 75^th (21:11.5), Tatum Koenig 76^th (21.12.3), Arleigha Bailiff 89^th (26:03.6), Mikayla David 90^th (26:16.6).

The Bulldogs will finish their season next Monday Oct 16^th at the JR. Greater Lansing Cross Country Championship.
