The girls cross country team had a successful night at the Parkside Invitational in Jackson. The Parkside Invitational runs differently than most other invites, as athletes only compete against other athletes in the same grade.  In order to earn a medal, an athlete had to finish in the top 20 of their race. We had some strong performance from the girls, with 3 earning a medal and other girls reaching the goal of a new PR. Below are the times for each of runner:

6^th Grade: scoring 147 (7^th) – MacAnna Esparza 15:35.38 (PR), Sophia Brown 17:27.9 (PR).

7^th Grade : An incredible race for Jovie Overkamp placing 10^th  (14:11.06 - PR), and  Winne Udell coming in 11th (14:20.57 - PR) and Aubrey Perez placing 25th (15:15.3 - PR).

8^th Grade: Fiona Sizemore had an outstanding night placing 12^th (14:23.87). Evelyn Kleibush had a goal to PR and she reached that by coming in 34^th (17:34.34 – PR).

The next competition for the Bulldogs will be on Monday, October 2nd in St. Johns.
