Girls Middle School Cross Country Took 1st against Charlotte and Waverly

The Ionia Middle School girls’ cross country team competed again Charlotte and Waverly at the Ionia High School Monday 9/26/2022. The team won the meet by scoring 15 points. There were a total of 14 girls competing in competition tonight, and Ionia had some very strong performances. Scoring points for the Bulldogs included Fiona Sizemore (1st – 14:59.34), Khole Mathis (2nd – 16:15.31), Winner Udell (3rd – 16:17.28), Evelyn Kleibusch (9th - 18:46.38), Aubrie Perez (10th – 19:07.44), Lydia French (11th – 19:27.44), and Vesper Nervig (12th – 20:14.88).
The Bulldogs will travel to Jackson on Thursday, September 29th to compete in the Parkside Invitational at Ella Sharp Park.
