The IMS girls cross country team traveled to DeWitt on Monday night to compete in the Greater Lansing Junior CC Championship.  This meet consists of two separate races, one that includes the top 10 runners from each team, followed by an Open Girls Run.

In the Top 10 girls race Ionia finished in 20th place out of 26 teams.  Carleigh Thompson paced the way for the Bulldogs, finishing in 63rd place (14:24.2PR).  She was followed by Fionia Sizemore (77th-14:50.2), Khloe Mathis (91st-15:05.1PR), Kennedy Batista (119-15:49.6PR), Camryn Robinson (188-17:39.7), Amelia McGee (194-17:59.2), and Alexa Barna (210-19:13.1).   

In the Open Girls race Ionia finished in 10th place out of 15 teams.  Emma Lange led the way for the Bulldogs finishing in 51st place (16:45.0).  She was followed by Keagan Thomas (116-19:26.0), Evelyn Kleibusch (118-19:28.4), Emma McCarty (121-19:35.3), Hannah Luttman (126-19:57.2), Gabby Nava (130-20:04.3), Anna McCarty (133-20:11.2), Halli Parham (155-22:22.6), Evelyn McGinnis (156-22:30.5), Teagan Frisbie (174-24:30.9), and Victoria Main (175-24:32.8).
