SARANAC HS: 44
The IMS cross country teams participated in the Saranac Color Run on Tuesday night at Saranac Community Schools. Laingsburg won the competition with 44 points, followed by Saranac with 50, Ionia 64, and Fulton 72.
Girls finishing in the top 20 received a medal. Carleigh Thompson finished in 8th place (12:50.2), Fionia Sizemore finished in 9th (12:52.1), and Khloe Mathis finished in 17th with 13:59.7
Other strong performances included Emma McCarty (35th place - 16:54.4), Addy Lepien (37th place - 17:21.3), and Hannah Luttman (38th place - 17:26.4).
The Bulldogs will finish their season next Monday, October 18 at the Jr. Greater Lansing Cross Country Championship in DeWitt.
