CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 38
The Ionia Middle School cross country teams traveled to the Country Mill Orchard and Cider Mill Tuesday night, competing against teams fro Charlotte, Haslett, and Waverly. Haslett won the girl's meet with 38 points, followed by Charlotte with 40, Ionia with 52, and Waverly with 106.
There were a total of 51 girls competing in the competition tonight, and Ionia had some very strong performances. Scoring points for the Bulldogs included Fiona Sizemore (5th place - 15:36.75), Khloe Mathis (10th place - 16:24.71), Kennedy Batista (11th place - 16:40.64), Camryn Robinson (12th place - 16:43.19), and Alexa Barna (14th place - 16:44.43).
The Bulldogs will travel to Jackson on Thursday, September 30th to compete in the Parkside Invitational.
