EATON RAPIDS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0
The Ionia A Volleyball Team pulled out the broom and swept Eaton Rapids winning all three sets. Ionia started the match a bit sluggish but behind solid serving and team work the Lady Dawgs won 25-21. Momentum carried over into the second set with Amaya Frias serving 6 points off a powerful serve. Ionia focused and worked hard to set the ball and be more offensive. Gena Rogers stepped back to finish the set with 5 service points and Ionia won 25-14. It was Ionia's night! The Lady Dawgs continued to serve well and gel as a team offensively. Ionia handed Eaton Rapids another loss winning the final set 15-9. Tope servers for the night were Miah Wittenbach (10 service points), Amaya Frias (9 points) and Gena Rogers 10 service points. Ionia A Volleyball Team is 3-3 for the season and will travel to Fowlerville on Monday.
