The Girls 7th Grade Volleyball A Team took on the Portland Raiders in a thrilling rematch tonight. Ionia won 20-25, 25-15, 16-14. What an exciting match! From the first serve to the final serve, the Lady Dawgs were determined. The ladies served well and played incredible defense. Outstanding passing and setting sparked an aggressive attack. Our offense was tough to stop tonight. The Lady Dawgs showed so much heart on the court! Everyone on the team contributed and their will to win and avenge a loss from earlier in the season was incredible. Coach Swinehart is super proud of these ladies! Ionia is 8-2 for the season and they travel to Charlotte on Monday for their final match of the season. Go Blue!
