CHARLOTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0
The Ionia 7th Grade A Team won a tough match this evening against the visiting Orioles from Charlotte. At the start of the first game the Lady Dawgs struggled with serve receive but once the team settled down the girls were able to pass the ball and be offensive. Ionia rallied behind some strong serves and won the game 25-23. The momentum continued into the second game as the Lady Dawgs continued to pass well and serve strong. Team work was key! Ionia won the game 25- 9. Logan Thomas started the final game serving 10 straight points, and Ionia rallied to a 15-11 victory. Ionia is 3-2 on the season and will host DeWitt on Wednesday. Come out and support your Lady Dawgs.
