WAVERLY MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0
The Ionia 7th Grade A Volleyball team hosted Waverly this evening and won all three sets. The Lady Dawgs took a commanding 17-2 lead behind the strong serving of Logan Thomas. Logan scored 14 straight service points. Ionia won the first set 25-9. The serving power continued in the second set as 4 different players scored 4 or more points on their serve. Ionia won 25-8. The third set was only to 15 and the Lady Dawgs were able to control the serve and manage the rallies. Ionia won the set 15-8. Ionia is 1-2 on the season and will travel to Holt on Wednesday. Go Blue!
