ST. JOHNS MIDDLE SCHOOL: 3
The Girls 7th grade A Volleyball Team faced St. Johns this evening in a back and forth battle. Ionia struggled with their serves in the first game but their defense kept them in the game until St.Johns served strong to win 25-19. The second game had the Dawgs focused and serving well. The two teams had some amazing rallies but Ionia came up just a little short losing 23-25. Ionia lost the third game 8-15. Emma Hoppough lead Ionia with 9 service points. Ionia is 0-2 and will face Waverly at home on Monday. Go Bulldogs!
