The Ionia 7th Grade A Volleyball Team lost to Portland tonight but not before battling to serve receive against the strong serves of Portland. The first and second set challenged the Lady Dawgs to work together as a team and cover a lot of the court. Ionia fell just short losing 16-25, 19-25. The third set started off with Ireland Brown serving 5 straight points as the Lady Dawgs pulled it all together and won 15-6. Ionia is now 2-3 on the season and will play at Home on Monday against DeWitt.
