The Ionia Girls Volleyball A Team played against a tough Charlotte team tonight. The Lady Dawgs started slow and struggled with their serves in the first set losing to Charlotte 18-25. The Lady Dawgs then rallied behind solid serving and played as a team to win the next two sets 25-15, 15-5. Ionia was lead by Addison Bowne and Gabby Meyers who each scored 6 service points. This was a great team victory for the Lady Dawgs as they are now 1-2 for the season. Ionia travels to Williamston on Monday.
