Ionia traveled to Lansing Everett and brought home the win 136-8.  Several of the younger swimmer were able to swim new events and more events than they typically do to balance the fact that Lansing was competing with only a portion of their team tonight.   Ionia took first in every event even with the rearranged line-up.  There were 8 best times with the biggest time drops of the night from Emily Anderson, Halli Parham, Rain Pinnow, and Lena Cox.

A highlight of the evening was the all sophomore relay of Maddie Lemke, Avelin McGuire, Hannah Lutman and Mariya Berry swimming hard to take first in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

The relay team of Isabelle Robinson, Kennedy Batista, Adah Drown, and Katelyn Lamphere took first in the 200 yard medley relay

Mariya Berry took first in the 200 yard freestyle

Kennedy Batista took first in the 200 yard individual medley

Hannah Luttman took first in the 50 yard freestyle

Lena Cox took first in the 100 yard freestyle

Ella Udell took first in the 500 yard freestyle

Brynn Labadie took first in the 100 yard backstroke

JoAnna Platte took first in the 100 yard breastroke

The relay team of Lexi Heinlein, Amelia McGee, Ella Udell and Eily Martinez took first in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

Ionia will host Haslett next week at home at 6:00 p.m. on October 5.

Ionia is now 4-0 in the CAAC Red, 6-0 overall
