Ionia swam hard tonight to win vs the Hastings co-op, 101-67.

It was a fast night in the pool.  We had 22 personal best times over the course of the evening with many girls swimming events they have never swam before.  Mariya Berry, JoAnna Platte, and Kennedy Batista had the biggest time drops of the night.  All girls who were in the water earned varsity points in their races.  

Brynn Labadie took first place in the 200 yard freestyle.

Amelia McGee took first in the 200 yard individual medley and the 100 yard freestyle.

Eily Martinez took first in the 50 yard freestyle and the 500 yard freestyle

Addy Lepien took first in the 100 yard butterfly and the 100 yard backstroke.

Katelyn Lamphere took first in the 100 yard breaststroke.

We continue to learn and make progress.  Ionia is now 2-0 in the season.  

Ionia will travel to Lansing Waverly next Thursday for the first conference meet of the season.
