Ionia swam the combined Lansing Legacy team on won tonight on the road.  It was a night full of sportsmanship and new opportunities.  Lansing is in a rebuilding phase with a very small team.  This gave our newer swimmers the chance to swim more meet events and different strokes.  It also gave all of our swimmers the opportunity to really focus on technique in a racing environment.

Mimi Wegener earned her fourth diving win which gives her a place at the regional diving event in November.

Kennedy Batista, Madeline McGee, Amelia McGee and Ella Udell in the 200 Medley Relay

Katelyn Lamphere won the 200 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke

Eily Martinez won the 200 yard individual medley

Mariya Berry won the 50 yard freestyle

Madeline McGee won the 100 yard butterfly.

Isabelle Robinson won the 100 yard freestyle

Taylor Browne won the 500 yard freestyle

Lamphere, Wegener, Isy Vasquez and Udell won the 200 yard freestyle

Riley Browne won the 100 yard backstroke

Amelia McGee, Halli Parham, Udell and Vasquez won the 400 yard freestyle

Ionia is now 3-0 in the CAAC Red conference; 5-1 overall

Ionia will travel to Hastings to participate in the TK/DK/Hastings relay meet on Saturday morning.
