The Ionia JV football team traveled to Lansing Sexton and lost a high-scoring game, 54-64. The Bulldogs racked up 470 rushing yards, with Vinny Crippen leading the charge, rushing for 301 yards and four touchdowns. Cody Waterman contributed 123 rushing yards and one touchdown, while Jaydyn Dornbos added 46 rushing yards and a score. Dan Falter made the only reception of the night, catching an 11-yard touchdown pass from Waterman.

The JV team is now 1-4-1 and will host Lansing Catholic on Thursday.
