The JV football team hosted St. Johns but fell short with a 41-12 loss. Cody Waterman led the Bulldog offense, rushing for 110 yards and scoring a touchdown. Vinny Crippen contributed 36 yards and another touchdown. Jaydyn Dornbos and Chad Campbell each added 17 yards, while Brock Shattuck chipped in with 16 yards.

Ionia now holds a 2-5-1 record for the season and will face Lakewood in their final game on Thursday.
