The JV Football team traveled to Charlotte for a CAAC White match up, finishing in a 16-16 tie. The Bulldogs’ touchdowns came from Ethan Wenzel with a 40-yard run and Chad Campbell with a 3-yard run. Wenzel led the team in rushing with 117 yards, while Cody Waterman contributed 45 yards on the ground. The Bulldog defense delivered a strong performance, holding Charlotte to just 59 rushing yards. Colter Reed led the defense with 10 tackles, and Grant Starks added 6.

Ionia’s record stands at 1-3-1, and they will face Lansing Sexton on Thursday.
