ST. JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL: 39
The Ionia Boys JV basketball team defeated St Johns boys jv by a score of 54-39.
It was a defensive battle through the first half as the score was tied 6-6 at the end of the first quarter. We wore them down and turned our defense into offense into the second half. The energy was high and it was a fun game tonight. We had a balanced attack with Mason Doty leading the way with 10 points.
The Bulldogs Jv team improves to 8-0 and will travel to Lansing to take on Lansing Catholic Thursday at 7 in a conference showdown
