PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA HS: 46
The Ionia boys jv basketball team defeated Pewamo Jv team 62-46. The Bulldogs jumped on them early and held PW to 10 points at halftime.
We had yet another balanced attack, this time led by Henry Castle who scored 16. Jacob Montgomery started off the game strong, scoring two 3-pointers in the first quarter. Max Doty and Carter Castillo controlled the intensity of the entire game and helped lead the charge defensively all game long.
Ionia JV improves to 5-0 and will take on Hastings on January 4th at Ionia.
