Ionia boys JV basketball team defeated Lakewood boys Jv 71-28 on Monday.

Max Doty got out on the break early and often and scored 15 points. Mason Doty controller the game by picking apart the zone defense from the start totaling 10 points and 6 assists. Gage Flanner got hot early and scored 10. Spencer Tooker scored 13 as well in a very balanced scoring attack.

Ionia jv improves to 3-0 and will take on Portland in a league match Thursday at Portland.
