MASON HIGH SCHOOL: 115
Thursday night the Ionia Swimming and Diving Team went up against Mason. The final score was 115 Mason 56 Ionia. Ionia started out great finishing:
- 2nd and 3rd in the 200 medley relay
- Raygen Goodsell finished 3rd in the 200 freestyle
- Carl Goeckel finished 1st in the 200 IM
- Carliegh Thompson finished 2nd in diving
- Carl Goeckel finished 1st in 100 Butterfly
- Christian Martinez got 3rd in the 100 freestyle
- Nick Richey got 3rd in the 500 freestyle
- Seth Wandell got 3rd in the 100 breaststroke
There was also a lot of PRs tonight but at the end of the day the much larger Mason team prevailed.
