Tuesday night the Ionia swim team lost to St. Johns 52 to 126 in their home opener at the Bulldog Aquatic Center.
Top point earners for Ionia were Carl Goeckel with 2 first place finishes and a total of 13.5 points for the team, Christian Martinez scored 8.5 for the team, and Carleigh Thompson earned 7.5 points for the team. Ragan Goodsell, Cooper Highlen, Gabe Holman, Hannah Luttman, Christian Martinez, Wyatte Stevenson, and Carleigh Thompson all had PRs.
We continue to get better times with every meet and look forward to Saturday’s invitational in Mason.
