Boys Swimming Finishes 8th at Mason Invite

The Bulldogs swam at the Mason invitational on Saturday and finished 8th against Mason, Jackson, St Johns Marsh, Haper Creek, Battle Creek, Charlotte, and Ovid-Elsie. There were a lot of great races including some close to state qualifying times for Ionia. Ionia was able to walk away with six medals:
- Carl Goeckel finished 4th out of 23 in the 200-yard freestyle and 4th out of 18 in the 100-yard butterfly.
- The team of Carl Goeckel, Christian Martinez, Brendin Bushee, & Gabe Holman finished 8th in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Our next meet will be against Ovid-Else on Wednesday, this time in a dual where the Bulldogs will look to get their second win on the season.
