Boys Swimming Finishes 8th at Mason Invite

Game Date: Dec 16, 2023

The Bulldogs swam at the Mason invitational on Saturday and finished 8^thagainst Mason, Jackson, St Johns Marsh, Haper Creek, Battle Creek, Charlotte, and Ovid-Elsie. There were a lot of great races including some close to state qualifying times for Ionia. Ionia was able to walk away with six medals:

Carl Goeckel finished 4^th out of 23 in the 200-yard freestyle and 4^th out of 18 in the 100-yard butterfly.
The team of Carl Goeckel, Christian Martinez, Brendin Bushee, & Gabe Holman finished 8^th in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Our next meet will be against Ovid-Else on Wednesday, this time in a dual where the Bulldogs will look to get their second win on the season.
