The Ionia Boys Varsity swim team punched well above their weight at the Mason Invite on Saturday. Pitted against top-flight competition, The 7-man skeleton crew worked through illness and injury, led by Sophomore Carl Goeckel's 4th place finish in the 100m Butterfly, and the gritty 200m freestyle relay squad of Lyons, Brown, Goeckel and Bushee.
