Feb. 5 2022: The Ionia Bulldog Swim Team took 7th out 8 places at the Dewitt Invitational this past Saturday coming in just ahead of Waverly Lansing Catholic! Team rankings were Nothview 405 points, Dewitt 329, Mason 323.5, East Lansing 307, Wayland 280.5, Eaton Rapids 237, Ionia 187, and Waverly 172.  Highest placing Bulldog of the day was Carl Goeckel earning a 4th place medal in the 200 Individual Medley. Kenny Felice followed up with a 5th place in the 100 Breaststroke.  Placing top 8: Ionia 200 200 Medley (7th place) A Gerdis, Felice, Goeckel, & Lyons; Andrew Gerdes 8th 200 Freestyle & 100 Back, Elstin Lyons 50 & 100 Freestyle, Carl Goeckel 7th 100 Fly, Brendin Bushee 500 Free, 200 Free Relay Brown, Bishop, Wandel, & Hickok, & Ionia 400 Free Relay A Goeckel, Gerdis, Richey, & Felice.

Every swimmer entered today earned points in either their individual or realy events! A very exciting day!

The next swimm meet is against Waverly @ Waverly Thursday Feb. 10. Spash down 6 PM.
