Ionia V Mason Final Score Ionia 71 Mason 102. 

Ionia swam their best competitor this evening taking 71 points home along with several personal bests. Despite the loss, the Mason meet is a perennial favorite at a beautiful facility against swimmers who are top notch not only in their sport but in sportsmanship. The Mason swimmers support the most novice swimmer to the most expert with true enthusiasm and equity regardless of team. Taking top spots for Ionia were Kenny Felice 200 Freestyle, Carl Goeckel 200 Individual Medley & 100 Backstroke. Ionia's "A" 200 Freestyle Relay of Goeckel, Gerdis, Lange, & Felice also grabbed 1st. Coming in 2nd were Brendin Bushee in the 500 Freestyle, Xander Lange 100 Backstroke, Kenny Felice Breaststroke. 3rd places went to Estin Lyons 50 Freestyle, Xander Lange 100 Butterfly, & Isaiah McElhaney 500 Freestyle.
