Jan. 15 2022 Ionia Swimmers take 7th place @ Hastings/TK invite Jan. 15, 2022. For the first time in while Ionia enjoys a bit of a victory coming out 32 points ahead of Freemont! Congratulations Team! Swimmers taking top spots were Carl Goeckel with a 3rd place medal in the 200 freestyle and 4th in the 100 butterfly. Kenny Felice placed 6th overall in the 200 individual medley and 5th overall in the 100 Breaststroke. Other high points of the meet included Nick Richey achieving an outstanding time drop in the 100 Breaststroke, Addison Bishop being one of only two girls competing with the boys, and Isaiah McElhaney debuting in the 500 Freestyle.
Next contest is Jan. 20 @ 6 PM Ionia V Ovid-Elsie @ Ovid Elsie.
