The Ionia team put up some tough swims against perennial powerhouse Eaton Rapids. Developing swimmers continue to show improvement while veterans also enjoyed some personal bests and maintained some solid swimming.
Top spots of the night went to: Carl Goeckel 1st place 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly; Kenny Felice 100 Breaststroke and 2nd in the 200 individual medley. Xander Lange 2nd in the 100 Backstroke; Finally Tavon Schwab took 1st in diving. Hannah Wirtz one of 3 girls on this year's squad was the first girl to compete for the Ionia Winter season in recent history, and Connor Hickok made his debut on the diving board.
Next Meet is HOME vs. Ovid-Elsie Dec. 21 @ 6 PM.
