Girls Varsity Wrestling at Ovid-Elsie

Our girls traveled to Ovid-Elsie tonight and wrestled at our first Girls only tournament of the year and they both wrestled great! Sadie Roberts went 3-1 bringing home a 3rd place medal. Sadie's only loss on the night was a close match in the semi Finals vs the #4 ranked wrestler in the state. Sarah Schafer also had a great night on the mat going 2-2 in one of the biggest brackets of the night ending 1 match short of getting a medal. Our Girls will also compete next weekend at Mason High school in the CAAC championships.
