Boys Varsity Wrestling at Hastings

Ionia varsity boys traveled to Hastings today to wrestle in there annual individual tournament. Ionia sent 13 wrestlers today out of the 13 we had 5 wrestlers earn medals. Aaron Wolthuis at 126 lbs went 3-1 beating the 3 seed and the 2 seed to make the finals where we lost a tough match bringing home a 2nd place medal. Wade Charon at 106 went 1-2 and took 4th place. Ricky Charon at 113lbs went 3-1 and took 3rd place. Wyatt Berry at 175 lbs 2-2 and took 4th place. Jonathan Rico at 190 lbs went 3-2 and took 4th place . Your Bulldogs will be back on the mat and wrestle a double dual Wednesday at Portland.
