Ionia Traveled to Grand Ledge tonight to compete in a double dual vs Charlotte and Everett. Ionia wrestled very tough tonight losing a close one to Charlotte 45-25 and then getting a win over Everett 60-21. Ionia wrestlers going 2-0 on the night were Ricky Charon, Chad Campbell, Jackson Stoakes, Bryce Hoppes, and Landen Steffen. Wrestlers getting 1 win on the night were Aaron Wolthuis, Hunter Barker, Johan Baeza, Wyatt Berry, Jon Rico, Sadie Roberts and Drake Wittenbach. Ionia is 10-12 on the dual season. We will be back on the mat this weekend with our girls traveling to Ovid Elsie Friday and our boys will be wrestling at Lakewood Saturday.
