Wrestling Earns Split at Okemos Quad

Ionia varsity wrestling team traveled to Okemos to wrestle a double dual vs Portland and Okemos. 1st dual of the night Ionia lost 51-27 against Portland. Ionia then turned it around with with a win over Okemos 60-24. Wrestlers going 2-0 tonight were Chad Campbell, Jackson Stoakes, Carter Castillo, Hunter Barker, and Sarah Schafer. Other wrestlers also earning a win tonight were Ricky Charon, Logan Rozewski, Aaron Wolthuis, Levi Scheid, Jack Gardner, Wyatt Berry, Landen Steffen, Natalie Fassett, and Sadie Roberts. Ionia is now 9-7 as a team.your Bulldogs will be back on the mat next week Friday 12/29 at our Home Wrestling tournament wrestling starts at 9am.
