Ionia Traveled to Lowell today to compete in the MHSAA individual regionals. Unfortunately, both of our Ionia wrestlers lost today bringing our boys season to an end. Senior Nathan Clute went 0-2 today wrestling the #1 & #10 ranked wrestlers in the state. Nate ended his season with a record of 32 wins and 13 losses. Senior Killian Campbell went 1-2 today with a loss in the first round to the #11 ranked wrestler in the state by 2 points, Then Killian won by Tech fall vs Greenville, and then lost in the blood round to the #6 ranked wrestler in the state. Killian ended his season with a record of 32 wins and 10 losses. We are all so proud of these young men and their accomplishments this season and through out the last 4 years.
Ionia will travel to Cadillac tomorrow for the MHSAA Girls only Regionals.
