Ionia had a great weekend of wrestling. Ionia had three girls competing today at the MHSAA girls only regionals. Paige Campbell went 1-2 today falling just short in the blood round to the upset #1 seed of the tournament. The Coaching staff and entire Ionia Wrestling program can not express enough, how proud we are of our Senior Paige Campbell and her achievements  and her impact of the program and everyone around her. Freshman Sarah Schafer  placed 6th getting a big win over Clinton who we lost to earlier in the season . Sarah Schafer if a state qualifier. Junior Kara Kramer-Lake Had a dominate day going 3-1 and out scoring her opponents 26-2. Kara placed 2nd today also qualifying for the state finals.  

Ionia has 3 State Qualifiers Killian Campbell, Sarah Schafer, and Kara Kramer-Lake they will wrestle in the MHSAA Individual wrestling state Finals March 4th and 5th in Detroit at Ford Field.
