Ionia Wrestling loses close one at Grand Ledge

Ionia Varsity Wrestling team traveled to Grand Ledge high school tonight and lost two close matches. Ionia's first match of the night was also Ionia's first conference dual of the season vs returning team state qualifier's Charlotte. The bulldogs fell short by one match losing 33-35. In round two Ionia Wrestled Grand Ledge and lost another tough dual 47-30. Going 2-0 tonight were wrestlers Logan Rozewski, Killian Campbell and Chase Holford. Also winning matches tonight were wrestlers Nathan Dygert, Devin Leland, Natalie Fassett, Nathan Clute, and Chris Smith. Ionia is now 6-3 on the season. Your Bulldogs will be back on the mat next week Wednesday 12/22 at Ionia. Wrestling starts at 5:00PM
