Ionia Varsity Wrestling Wins Over Newaygo

The Ionia varsity wrestling team went 1-2 at Carson City tonight. losing to Carson City 57-24 and to Mt. Pleasant 49-30. The Bulldogs finished the night out with a win over Newaygo 60-24 . Senior Aidan Clute Went 3-0 at heavy weight this evening. Having Two wins each on the night were wrestlers Nate Dygert, Hunter Barker, Jon Anderson, Demetri Davis, Nate Clute, and Chase Holford. Ionia will be back on the Mat Wednesday (2/3/21) at Fowlerville wrestling starts at 5:00 pm .
