Wrestling Five Earn Medals at 22nd Annual Mike Adamsom Invitational

The Ionia high school wrestling team competed in Ionia at the 22nd Annual Mike Adamson Invitational. Ionia had 10 wrestlers competing today, five of the ten finished in the top 4 and brought home medals.
- Blake Ledesma went 3-2 on the day taking 4th place.
- Daniel Webster went 4-1 and Zachary Negrete went 3-1 both placing 3rd.
- Senior Carter Meyers placed 2nd at 189 pound weight class.
- Junior Aidan Clute won the tournament at 285 going 5-0 and bringing home a first place medal.
Great wrestling by everyone. Ionia will be back on the mat next week Saturday Jan. 4th at Hastings High School.
