Wrestling Season Comes to an End at MHSAA Districts

LOWELL HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Ionia comes up just short at the MHSAA division 2 individual districts. Unfortunately Ionia did not have any wrestlers make it to the finals at districts bringing the bulldogs season to an end.
A lot of tough wrestling by the bulldogs today including 2 wrestlers who made it the the consolation semi finals or otherwise known as the blood round. Senior Carter Meyers at 171 lost to his oppenent from Byron Center 6-3 . Junior Aidan Clute at 285 lost to his opponent from Middleville by pin fall in the 2nd period.
The bulldogs season is over and we are incredibly proud of the season we had this year and all the hard work and improvements the team has shown this year.
